For some reason Ottawa has a fascination with the undead... maybe it's an allegory for all those civil servants shambling about? Whatever the reason, Ottawa filmmakers have a fondness for these moving corpses. Now Ottawa spawns it's latest Zombie project: zombieinfo.com. Run by the "Zombie King" it's a clearing house for all things Zombie. Whether it's a debate about "fast" versus "slow" zombies, links to movies or just ranting about the undead, this is the place to be...

Wow...

Well, it's been a bit... my apologies to those of you who follow us (is there actually anyone out there?). My "day job" has kept me more than hopping for the last couple of months, but as things even out, I'll be back to contributing to this blog. A BIG thanks to Batturtle for keeping SOMETHING out here! So onward and forward, coming up we have: an interview with Ottawa's own Matt Ficner, the man behind the "Creepy Puppet" shorts, a whole WHACK of new films for our blip.tv site and some great new music from the Ottawa Region.

Just a reminder tonight (Saturday, Nov. 15th) is the Killer63 festival at the Mayfair theatre! A great chance to see some of Ottawa's best horror filmmakers in action and a last chance to see the Grand Old Theatre before it closes down! Hope to see everyone there!
