Rue Morgue Festival of Fear 2010 Announcement!

The good folks at Rue Morgue have announced the starting line up for this years Festival of Fear, Aug 27-29th. I'll save you the suspense and let you know that this years Guest of Honor is Canadian Filmmaker Extraordinaire David Cronenberg. For the "young 'uns" out there Cronenberg was the director of such horror classics as "The Fly" (an excellent remake), "The Dead Zone" (proof that you CAN get a decent movie out of a Stephen King novel), and my personal favourite "Scanners".  Louis Del-Grande's (in)famous head exploding scene was a a watershed moment for me in my appreciation of horror films.

Brett Kelly at Horror Realm

Ottawa's own Brett Kelly (Attack of the Giant Leeches, My Dead Girlfriend), will be appearing as a special guest at Horror Realm in Pittsburg. If your down there be sure to check it out!. Just a reminder, that Brett, along with myself, and a few other folks from the Ottawa scene, will be at Rue Morgue's Festival of Fear this August.
