We're bringing a bit of horror to the warmer months and making summer scary! Dress up, come out and monster mash with us. We'll have candy, music by DJ Lowpass, special drinks, and a HUGE performance portion!

Digi60 SIFT -July 23rd
Not directly horror/sci-fi related, but I know we've got TONS of Filmmakers in our audience. DIGI60 has returned the Summer Institute of Film and Television to life. This is an excellent opportunity for Filmmakers from novice to pro to learn from industry pros.
Homicycle World Premiere -July 26
Brett Kelly brings his latest... a tongue in cheek love letter to Andy Sidaris/80's Grindhouse films to the Royal Oak, along with some of his other films. Admission is by donation at the door. Sponsored by us here at Ottawa Horror!
Steampunk Picnic - August 10th
From Ottawa SteamPunk:
August picnic is in Strathcona Park down by the faux ruins. Come out by the river and have a picnic. It is a particularly nice spot for our shutterbugs!
Please bring food for yourself and some to share. Please also know your ingredients as some people will have food sensitivities.
Bring your lawn games, your cameras, kites, children and good humour.
As always, costumes are encouraged and welcomed and not required at all. We would love to see you whether you are new to Steampunk or a regular picnic attendee.
Zombie Party at the Capital Fair - August 19th
The Ottawa ZombieWalk is bringing Zombies to the Fair! Come be a Zombie at the fair! Here's your chance to re-enact ZombieLand! Well ok...maybe not. But you CAN dress up as a Zombie and wander the Fair. Bring a donation for the Food Bank!
