CAN-CON – The Conference on Canadian Content in Speculative Arts and Literature, will be held on October 3 to 5, 2014 at the Ottawa Sheraton Downtown, 150 Albert Street, Ottawa.
CAN-CON is Ottawa’s premiere Science Fiction and Fantasy gathering
celebrating the written word. This yearly event brings together readers,
writers, artists, scientists, and publishing professionals for panel
discussions, workshops, presentations, readings, book launches,
networking opportunities and to have fun. CAN-CON is a function of The
Society for Canadian Content in Speculative Arts and Literature.
CAN-CON 2014 welcomes award-winning fantasy and science fiction author Jo Walton as Author Guest of Honour. She has published nine novels, three poetry collections and an essay collection, with another novel due out in 2014.
